Matthew 14:23
Christ routinely spent time alone. Often, it was to rest before and/or after major ministry moments. While he refreshed his limited, physical body, he also refreshed himself spiritually. Christ often sought solitude for rest and time alone with God the Father.
We are never truly alone, even in solitude. God is always with us and it is often in solitude and silence that we see him most clearly.
In addition to Matthew 14, Christ spent time in solitude as recorded in Mark 1:35; 6:30-32; Luke 5:16; 6:12; and 9:28.
